Rich Schefren and Strategic Profits - Real or Full of it?
I mentioned Strategic Profits in my Feb 9th post and went ahead and signed up for the live presentation. I spent my Saturday afternoon at the computer waiting for the information that was promised. I actually watched pretty much all of this presentation by Rich Schefren. Turns out It was nothing new. It was basically the same information that is available through the google video link on their main page at strategicprofits.com. Rich posted a message on his blog today basically stating that they lied to everyone and did a different presentation than the one they had planned without letting anyone know.
Rich had a bunch of excuses for why he deceived the viewers (he was tired, he didn’t see the final powerpoint far enough in advance, coworkers, etc.) but he didn’t really own up to it and apologize in a very convincing way. He only promised that he will be doing the planned presentation in a couple days and to “look for the email” that will be coming soon.
Early in the presentation, I signed up for Rich’s coaching program as well since I liked what he had to say in his google video and his “menifesto” document. Since I signed up nine days ago, the only communication I’ve received from them is the welcome message that was automatically sent out once my credit card was approved.
I am going to to wait and see what the actual presentation has to say and if they come through with something for this coaching program. If it isn’t all they say it is, I will be contacting them for a refund of my money.
