Breaking Free From the Hype of Internet Marketing Part Two
In my last post, Breaking Free From the Hype of Internet Marketing Part One, I let you folks know that I would be making some changes around here and going back to what really works if you are trying to make money from home using the internet. I said I would be focusing more on listening to my chosen mentors and avoiding all the hype and sales pitches. Well, I’m happy to report that I am doing just that. However, I did change my mind about the Commission Blueprint refund. Here’s why.I learned quite a but from the Commission Blueprint program and took away some usable tidbits that I will be using to help my bottom line, so I felt that it would not be right to ask for a refund. I believe the program is a good value and with the lifetime forum access and updates they are offering, it worth the $77 I paid. Let it be known, however, that I do not intend to do any Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising any time soon though. Too expensive.
As I mentioned, I have a few “mentors” that I listen to and trust for information on internet marketing and making money online. There are many people that make great posts about the subject and I follow a lot of bloggers for tips and advice on various other topics as well. You can’t listen to everyone though. There are various ways to accomplish your online business goals, but you have to do what works for you, how you function as an individual and how you want to operate your business. You must make choices about how you will be operating your online business.
I want to point something out here that many people don’t really think about. The people that are really making HUGE money online are invisible to you and me. You have no idea who they are or what they are doing and they don’t want to be known. They do not teach or share anything with the online community. They make their money and keep their mouths shut. They do not create products about how to make money online. They don’t give a damn about how many Feedburner subscribers they have or number of visitors they get to their social blog. They are busy making money and that’s all they care about.
These are the people you want to learn from. The ones that are making real money. You want to know how they actually do it. The problem is, there are very few people that would be willing to spend their time teaching others their secrets. But there are a few who do just that.
I will be making a series of posts about the people I choose to follow. I will be summarizing what they do, how they do it and what I take away from their expertise. There are only a few because most of the people that spew “how to” info online, even those that are considered “gurus” in the internet marketing world, are basically just full of shit. They are marketers selling a product. Many are just flat out lying to people just to sell ebooks and other higher priced products. They are scammers preying on the ignorant.
So how do you keep from getting scammed? Who do you listen to? Where do you start if you want to make money from home with an online business? Find out in the next exciting episode of Business Dreams!
Seriously, I will be making a series of posts about the people that I follow and why.You may or may not want to follow the same people as me, so I will also be pointing out a few other business models and who might be helpful for that as well. Until next time…

Hi steve,
Nice blog. I read your about page and you sound a bit like me.
Anyway, enough of the flattery.
The reason I am contacting you is that I love your domain name and wondered if there was any chance you would sell for a reasonable price?
Sorry to contact you in this way but I couldn’t find your contact details
John
Sadly, many people that wish to start a business sound like me. The true secret is to take action and not quit!
Getting to your question, the domain is not for sale. Thanks for your interest, however.
The folks that are really making a pile on the net keep that knowledge close to their chest refusing to divulge it to the public at large.
