I finally got around to updating this blog to the latest version of WordPress (currently 2.5.1). It went well for the most part. Some things still seem to be a little off but I will be fixing things and making some changes for a while now. I am also going to be a little more focused on the Home Based Business topic so look for more on that subject specifically. Let me know what you think of the new look or if you have any suggestions for a new theme. Thanks.

I’ve been having a lot of issues with this blog lately so I think it’s time to upgrade. The site is running on an older version of WordPress with the Semiologic Theme. I decided to stop using Semiologic, basically because it costs money, a lot of it too. I’m trying to slim down my spending and while Semiologic is good, it is not necessary for the blogs I run, especially this one.
So look for a new theme and layout here soon. I’m not sure when I’ll be doing this because I want to focus my time on revenue generating activities, but it will be in the next week or so. I’m not sure why I’m posting about it, but what the heck. It shouldn’t be too bad but you never know. SO if the site is not here one day when you visit, just come back again later.

I wanted to get this information to you all right away. I recently started working with a credit repair company that I’ve been very impressed with. They’ve been practicing credit repair for over 7 years and during that time, they’ve helped over 30,000 people with their credit, and repaired over 100,000 credit reports.Â
They’ve launched a special promotion this month. which is actually why I’m posting this today. If you ever wanted a second chance with your credit, I’m giving you the heads up on what I believe is the best opportunity anywhere to legally repair your credit.
The name of the company is “DSI Solutionsâ€, and they are a leader in the credit repair industry.
I was really amazed at their results. They always keep you updated, and you can contact them anytime. And I think this recent promotion makes their service pretty affordable for just about anyone.
If you work with people in foreclosure, this is a great additional service to offer to them once their situation is handled to help build up their credit scores again. Realtors and even mortgage brokers can send clients here if they don’t qualify for a mortgage to help them improve their credit scores easily and professionally.
They work with all 3 major credit reporting agencies and you can expect to see results within the first 60 days. They take care of everything. I highly recommend you check them out, I managed to give you a head start on their promotion, so go to http://partners.repairyourbadcredit.com/z/60/CD635/ for the details.
All the best,
Steve
p.s. I forgot to mention they fully guarantee their service too. If they don’t produce, then you don’t pay. It’s risk-free, check it out.Â

So I get this call the other day out of the blue from a woman who used to run the IT department for a company that I used to service as a Network Engineer years ago. They were one of our clients and were assigned to me for support. They loved me there. Turns out she is leaving her position in a few weeks and she was wondering if I would be interested in filling her spot since I know the systems and software they use.
I was not looking for a job and I honestly don’t know if I could even take a job at this point. I really like the life and schedule of an entrepreneur. I seem to work a lot but can bend my hours for the most part when needed. Of course, the one and only reason to take a job would be for the money. Steady, consistent income week after week is nice. Better health insurance is a good thing too. I agreed to meet with them tomorrow at 10:00am to discuss things. Obviously I won’t make any decisions until I hear their offer, but it is making me think. They want me to bring a resume…yikes!
If I were to actually spend 40 hours per week on productive income generating activities, I’d be making a lot more money than I do now and a job offer wouldn’t even get considered. I guess this is forcing me to take a good look in the mirror and give myself a good kick in the ass. It is clear to me at this instant that I waste too much time and need to get my head in the game. Gotta go…

I have decided to drop the Rich Schefren program. The materials are very good but I just can’t justify the cost and time requirements at this time. Perhaps in the future but not now.
Now the fun begins with refund requests so we’ll see how they handle that. When I first signed up with them, they said there was a 30 day guarantee. I signed up on 2/12 and they didn’t even have the site up and running until early March. I requested the refund on 3/29. I was then charged a second time on 4/3. I received a refund on one month’s payment on 4/6.
So now I was charged for two months and refunded for one month. I have requested a refund on the second month now as well.

It has been over three weeks since my last post and I wanted to give a very quick update on things that are going on with me lately.
1. I just got back from Houston, TX where I learned about a strategy for investing in real estate that will change the way I do things around here dramatically. It is actually a proprietary system developed by a 25 year investing veteran who does 3-5 deals per month averaging about $10k to $15k per deal. And he does it without using his own money or credit and through realtors and mortgage brokers all above board and fully disclosed to all parties. And he takes it easy too. Pretty cool. So, I will be working on that. I’ll keep you posted.
2. Consolidated Solutions Group continues to take off like gangbusters. I am working on putting more tools together for my team to help them as I start to add their services into my business model as well. I now have 2,874 members in my group, which really blows me away considering i only have 77 personally sponsored. It goes to show that it is not about quantity when building a team, it is about quality. You could have 50 people on a baseball team, but if they all sucked, they would lose every game. I’d take 9 good players any day.
3. I joined Rich Schefren’s Business Growth Systems coaching program last month and absolutely love it so far. This guy is the cat’s meow when it comes to running a business. I wish I could spend a month going through all his materials but there is just so much knowledge pouring out I can’t keep up.
Here out up a special page called “The Vault” where all of his FREE materials ae posted. Here is the link if you haven’t been there yet.

I guess the only compaint I could have is that there is so much to take in that it gets overwhelming. His videos are awesome but they are like 2 hrs long each!
IÂ need to get back to work. Make it a great day!

I have decided to start posting to this website using a wordpress blog and see how it goes. I think it will work out pretty good for what I want to accomplish with this site which is to share knowledge and opinions about various ways to make money without working for someone else. If you are here, you have dreams of owning your own successful business. If you are here for another reason, thanks for stopping by but you are probably in the wrong place.
I am constantly looking for ways to make money on my own. I have no desire to ever go to work for someone else again. I have had many jobs and there were only a couple that I liked. Both of those were taken away from me through mergers or corporate relocation.
I currently own several businesses which make money in a variety of ways. I will be listing them all and how they make money in future posts. I still have more to learn and a lot of changes to make to get where I want to be however and this website will help both you and me achieve our goals.
